GUNNHILD CAMBELL ÅSLY (2016)

Organic intuition – Gunnhild was born and raised on the beautiful Island Hidra, outside Flekkefjord. She mainly applies various techniques within «freestyle art». Her style is defined by her humorous and semi-abstract motives. Gunnhild’s main inspiration is the style of the local and colourful artist Tatjana Lars Kristian Guldbrandsen. Even as a child, his paintings intrigued her. Åsly is an art therapist, educated in Denmark. She also has had several separate exhibitions. Gunnhild has an intuitive form of expression, where her motives are directly inspired by her surroundings and her experiences.
