AFK (2016)

Freedom of expression and the big questions - AFK is an acronym for the street artist's name. He is based in Bergen. The artist's classic solid-colored stencils (with hints of pink and purple) are often characterized by political undertones. His discreet use of color makes his works easy to recognize. AFK belongs to the elite of Norwegian street artists and his street art is one of the most exceptional to be found in this country.

HVALEN - “LEARNING TO FLY”

These two pieces of steetart were created in 2016 and are found in Kildegaten. «Learning to fly» is an homage to kids and youth – telling them that they can achieve anything if they only work hard enough. The other work AFK made while he was in town, "Equilibrium" (Equilibrium), showed a boy whose head is a weight linked to the body. The symbol-heavy work was made on his own initiative. It stood for several years, until the homeowner sold the house and painted over the work. AFK is also behind the well-known work that showed a crucified Sylvi Listhaug, in Bergen in 2018. His art is characterized by a great political commitment.
