THE ALGORITHMS OF THE BRAIN (HJERNENS ALGORITMER)
Our mysterious brain – The art piece «The Algorithms of the Brain» created by Joel Toledo and Daniel Moreno i 2017 is found on the foundation of a historic house at Kirkegaten 22, in Flekkefjord. The simplified, colourful, and symbolic piece of art shows us how the brain functions. Our right half of the brain is creative, whereas our left half of the brain is logical. How do we process information? How do we assess information? And finally, how do we make up our minds? There are so many questions related to the issue at hand. Toledo and Moreno have several art projects together and separately, and with Flekkefjord School of the Arts.
